Hi, I'm Silvia! I'm a professional graphic designer, a mom, and the creative heart behind Sleeping Angel Treasures.
This little corner of the internet is about more than T-shirts, mugs, and gifts. It's about the experiences that shape us, the people we love, the things that make us smile, and the little reminders that help us get through life.
My own journey has included profound heartbreak, unexpected challenges, and moments of joy that I will always treasure. Those experiences have influenced not only who I am, but also the kinds of designs I love to create.

The Story Behind Sleeping Angel Treasures
You may be wondering where the name Sleeping Angel Treasures comes from. The answer is deeply personal.
My name is Silvia, and I am a mother of three boys, two of whom I carry in my heart rather than in my arms.
My first son, Alex, was stillborn at full term following an otherwise uneventful pregnancy. He is and will always remain my 'Sleeping Angel'. Losing him was devastating, and for a long time, I struggled to find my way through the grief.
After experiencing a miscarriage, I was blessed with another son, Nicky. Sadly, Nicky was born with a very rare genetic skin condition called Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB).
Epidermolysis Bullosa, often called EB, is a group of rare conditions that cause the skin to be extremely fragile. Nicky endured tremendous suffering throughout his life, yet he gave us 25 precious years that I will forever be grateful for.
He was, and always will be, one of my greatest treasures.
Although I miss him more than words can express, his life continues to inspire me. His memory is part of the reason I care so deeply about raising awareness, supporting families who face difficult challenges, and creating things that help people feel seen and understood.
Thankfully, my youngest son, Connor, is here with us, healthy and strong. He continues to bring love and light into my life.
My children have each shaped my journey in different ways. The name Sleeping Angel Treasures is a tribute to the love that never disappears, even when someone we love is no longer physically beside us.
Turning Life Experiences into Meaningful Designs
I've always loved graphic design, quotes, and creating things that make people feel something.
Sometimes that feeling is comfort. Sometimes it's inspiration. And sometimes, it's a good laugh!
My husband, who practically lives in T-shirts and loves wearing funny ones, helped inspire the idea of turning my designs into wearable gifts.
That idea grew into Sleeping Angel Treasures: a place where I could combine my love of design with my appreciation for the many different experiences, interests, and personalities that make us who we are.

Life isn't always easy. I've learned that firsthand.
There are times when we need something that acknowledges our pain, celebrates a memory, or reminds us that we aren't alone. And there are times when we desperately need something that makes us laugh.
I believe there is room for both.
A meaningful gift can say what words cannot. A funny T-shirt can brighten someone's day. A simple message can remind someone that they matter.
I also believe in kindness, embracing who you are, doing what you love, and finding ways to make the world a little better.
